Word of the Week: Natural

Word of the Week: Natural

To be labeled natural, USDA requires products to be free of artificial ingredients or added color, and can only be minimally processed. Minimally processed means the product was processed in a way that does not fundamentally alter it. Labels must also include a statement that explains the meaning of the term.
